Introducing Roberta Jones

Roberta Jones comes from a family of artists and was raised in the islands of Hawaii. Her mother, brother and cousins were all accomplished artist.

Roberta’s art work was recognized at an early age as she won numerous awards for her artistic creations.

Her art work has continually been recognized at numerous local and statewide art shows and competitions such as:

  • California State Fair
  • The Marin County Fair,

  • College of Marin Art Show,

  • Berkeley Art Show,

  • Sonoma County Fair and many others.

Roberta is an accomplished artist that works with many different media to create her expressions. Her paintings are very detailed and lifelike. Some of her paintings are expressed using the following media;

  • Oils
  • Acrylics &

  • Egg Tempera.

She also works with ceramics where she uses ceramic pottery as her canvas to express her painting and drawing expertise.

She is a mother of two that home schooled her children and then attended UC Berkeley to ultimately graduate and receive her Bachelors Degree in Art.

Roberta has taught and continues to teach art to children, young men & women and the physically challenged using unique and creative curriculums. Some of her teching stops have included;

  • Marin Ventures
  • Marin Academy,

  • Arts Bridge Program - Corronado Elementary School,

  • UC Berkeley - D-CAL Program,
